知名爆料博主“RedGamingTech”透露，据目前所知的信息，索尼即将推出的PS新掌机也能兼容PSVR设备（可能是以云/串流形式实现）。不过该博主也提醒广大玩家谨慎对待，因为在此之前自己已经有一年时间没有听到掌机相关的消息了。
此前Tom Henderson表示，代号为Q Lite的下一代PS掌机将是索尼的下一款硬件，该设备是一款通过使用PS5的Remote Play功能来运行的设备。据了解，这款新设备可以达到1080p/60FPS，需要全程联网运行。
Q Lite目前处于QA阶段，并计划在PS5 Pro之前、可拆卸光驱PS5之后发布。
