2月28日消息 近日外媒VGC负责人在个人推特表示，有许多行业专家认为，如果Xbox收购动视暴雪失败的话，微软或出售Xbox部门。
虽然大部分游戏玩家都希望这笔交易能够通过，但FTC、CMA和欧盟委员会等监管机构正在严格审查这笔交易。如果收购未能在6月之前完成，微软将向动视支付30亿美元的费用。
如果微软失败了呢？据外媒报道，有一些行业人士认为微软可能会做出重大决定并出售Xbox部门。
VGC负责人表示：“不管斯宾塞是怎么说的，我所知道的是，有很多业内专家都认为微软出售Xbox是有可能的（但我仍然认为微软会做出让步然后通过收购）。资本已经一次又一次地证明了，如果收益不够高，传统的逻辑真的不重要。我不期望它会发生，但我可以确切地说，一些重要人物会这么做。”
不过The Verge的高级编辑Tom Warren评论道：“我不确定这些行业专家都是谁，但他们显然一无所知。如果你690亿美元的巨额交易没通过（就卖掉部门的话），那你此前就不会战略性地收购Mojang和Bethesda组件Xbox游戏部门了。”
